: A Squeegee is designed to remove liquids, mud etc. so would not serve the purpose of applying a product. www.dubl-lif.co.uk/products/squeegees

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet... Your reference mentions use to move slurry and dung. Probably similar consistency to 'spackel'.
