Texte source - anglais The sacrum is a triangular shaped bone which transmits the weight of the body and forms the posterior wall of the pelvis. It is formed by fusion of five sacral vertebrae (S1-S5) in development and contains four pairs of anterior and posterior sacral foramina. The sacrum articulates with the lumbar vertebrae (L5) superiorly, coccyx inferiorly and laterally with the iliac bones.
The interosseous borders are sharp borders which run longitudinally along the junction of the lateral surface of the tibia and medial surface of the fibula. The interosseous membrane attaches to these borders and connects the two bones to form a fibrous joint.
The wrist joint is the condyloid articulation also known as the radiocarpal joint. It is formed by the distal end of the radius to scaphoid, lunate and triquetrum. The joint is surrounded by a capsule and strengthened by ligaments. It permits extension, flexion, abduction, adduction and circumduction.
The anterior tibiotalar part of the medial ligament extends from the medial malleolus of tibia to the neck of the talus. The medial or deltoid ligament is a compound ligament that consists of four parts that connect the medial malleolus of the tibia to the tarsal bones: i) anterior tibiotalar, ii) tibiocalcaneal, iii)) tibionavicular, and iv) posterior tibiotalar ligaments.
The fibular collateral ligament is a broad band on the outer knee. It connects the lateral epicondyle of the femur to the head of the fibula. Unlike the tibial collateral ligament, it is not fused to the lateral meniscus or capsule. This ligament is also known as the lateral collateral ligament (LCL), its main function is to keep the knee stable as it moves through its full range of motion. It is more flexible than the medial and therefore, less susceptible to injury
The midcarpal joint is a synovial, condyloid joint between the proximal and distal rows of carpal bones. It permits gliding and sliding movements. It consists proximally of the: scaphoid, lunate, and triquetral bones which articulate with the distal carpal row: the trapezium, trapezoid, capitate, and hamate. Proximal prolongations of the cavity are between the: i) scaphoid and lunate, and ii) lunate and triquetrum, these extend to the cavity of the radiocarpal joint and are separated by the thin interosseous ligaments. The three distal prolongations of the midcarpal joint cavity are found between the: i) trapezium and trapezoid, ii) trapezoid and capitate, and iii) capitate and hamate bones. The joint space of the trapezoid and capitate communicates with cavities of the second and third carpometacarpal joints and that between the hamate and 4th-5th metacarpals is a separate cavity.

Le ligament collatéral fibulaire est une large bande sur la partie externe du genou. Il relie l'épicondyle fémoral latéral à la tête de la fibula. A la différence du ligament collatéral tibial, il n'est pas soudé au ménisque latéral ou à la capsule. Ce ligament est aussi connu sous le nom de ligament latéral collatéral (LCL), sa fonction principale est d'assurer la stabilité du genou dans tous ses mouvements. Il est plus souple que le ligament médial et donc moins sujet aux blessures.
L'articulation médio-carpienne est une articulation synoviale condyloïde située entre les rangées distales et proximales des os carpiens. Elle permet les mouvements de glissement et de translation. Elle comprend du côté proximal les os scaphoïde, lunatum et triquetrum qui s'articulent avec la rangée carpienne distale : trapezium, trapézoïde, capitatum et hamatum. Les prolongations proximales de la cavité se situent entre i) le scaphoïde et le lunatum ii) le lunatum et triquetrum; celles-ci s'étendent jusqu'à la cavité de l'articulation radio-carpienne et sont séparés par les fins ligaments interosseux. Les trois prolongations distales de la cavité de l'articulation médio-carpienne se trouvent entre i) le trapezium et le trapézoïde, ii) le trapezoïde et le capitatum, iii) le capitatum et l'hamatum. L'espace articulaire du trapézoïde et du capitatum communique avec les cavités des 2ème et 3ème articulations carpo-métacarpiennes; et celle entre l'hamatum et les 4ème et 5ème métacarpes est une cavité séparée.
