Prior to setting herself up as a freelance translator in 2015, Anne van den Broeke spent 17 years working as a legal assistant and translator in three Paris based corporate law firms with strong international practices (SCP Bernard Hertz Béjot, Cournot Association d'Avocats and Cournot, Lemétais & Associés) under the supervision of Maître Stéphane Cournot, attorney-at-law admitted to the Paris and Washington D.C. Bars. During this time, she worked mainly in the area of mergers & acquisitions, core practice area of Maître Cournot, but also from time to time on litigation matters.

She had previously spent 6 years working in the Tax and Legal Departments (mainly day-to-day corporate law) of two Paris based accounting, auditing and consulting firms, A.C.I. and Exco Paris (later known as Grant Thornton International, ranked 8th in the world at the time) which merged together.

In 2015 she obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma with Honours in Court Translation and Interpreting from the prestigious Paris-based 'Ecole Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs'.

Préalablement à son installation en tant que traductrice indépendante en 2015, Anne van den Broeke a travaillé pendant 17 ans aux côtés de Maître Stéphane Cournot, avocat admis aux barreaux de Paris et de Washington D.C., en tant qu'assistante juridique-traductrice dans trois cabinets d'avocats d'affaires parisiens ayant une forte orientation internationale (SCP Bernard Hertz Béjot, Cournot Association d'Avocats et Cournot, Lemétais et Associés). Pendant cette période, elle a travaillé principalement dans le domaine de fusions-acquisitions, domaine d'intervention phare de Maître Cournot, mais également de temps en temps sur les dossiers contentieux.

Anne a également travaillé pendant 6 ans dans les départements juridiques (principalement droit des sociétés) et fiscaux de deux cabinets d'expertise-comptable, d'audit et de conseil parisiens, (Audit et Conseil International (A.C.I.) qui a fait l'objet d'une fusion-absorption avec le cabinet Exco-Paris, devenu Grant Thornton International, membre du 8ème réseau mondial de l'époque).

En 2015, elle a été admise au Diplôme d'Université de Traducteur-Interprète Judiciaire avec mention Très bien de l'Ecole Supérieure d'Interprètes et de Traducteurs.
