WHO I AM, WHAT I DO AND HOW I WORK


I grew up completely trilingual with Spanish, German and English, commuting between the US, Germany and Mexico. I am fluent in all three languages.

I have a B.S. in Chemistry, and an M.S. in Food Science, both from Mexico. The research for the M.S. was done in the United States.

I translate the following written materials: documents, manuals, guides, instructions, handbooks, brochures, invitations, advertising materials, fiction and narrations, songs, personal and business letters, e-mails and faxes, and finally non-fiction related to biology, chemistry, geography, history, food science, alternative medicine, tourism and travel information.

Short translations are usually finished three days after receiving the original text, but I can do it faster if you should need it (just let me know).

QUIÉN SOY, QUÉ HAGO Y CÓMO TRABAJO

Crecí completamente trilingüe (con inglés, alemán y español), y viví por periodos alternados, en Estados Unidos, Alemania y México. Hablo con fluidez los tres idiomas.

Estudié Química y terminé una Maestría en Ciencias en Alimentos en México. La investigación para la Maestría se realizó en los Estados Unidos.

Traduzco los siguientes tipos de textos: documentos, manuales, instrucciones, guías, folletos, invitaciones, anuncios y propaganda, novelas y narraciones, canciones, cartas personales y de negocios, emails, faxes y, finalmente, escritos relacionados con temas de biología, química, geografia, historia, alimentos, medicina alternartiva, turismo y viajes.

Las traducciones cortas usualmente están listas tres días después de recibir el texto original, o más pronto, si fuese necesario (sólo hágamelo saber).

Ich bin ganz dreisprachig (mit Englisch, Deutsch und Spanisch) aufgewachsen, und lebte abwechselnd in den Vereiningten Staaten von Amerika, Deutschland und Mexiko. Ich spreche alle drei Sprachen fliessend.

Ich habe in Mexiko Chemie studiert und einen M.S. in Lebensmittelwissenschaft beendet. Die Forschung für den Magister wurde in USA durchgeführt.

Kurze Übersetzungen sind normallerweise drei Tage nach dem Empfang des Originaltextes fertig, aber es kann auch schneller sein, wenn es notwendig ist (lassen Sie es mich nur wissen).
