(I understand and I agree.) So, my last and demanding job seemed something like: strozzapreti con funghi, speck, piselli e panna A kind of maccheroni, but with a richer flavour, and not hollow shaped (literally: priest-stranglers, so good) with mushrooms, speck from Alto Adige region, pees and cream. It was a good job (here, strozzapreti are perfect), mushrooms smell and taste good and they actually represent my client's good communication, speck is a bit tasty and a pleasant job is also spicy and demanding, pees tend to mitigate moods, and then cream. Uh, it is a perfect dressing when you like the job and would like to keep it at a positive level of flavour for body and soul. Creamy. Metaphors we live by would say George Lakoff ▲ Collapse | | |

Later this evening I'm planning to make a sauce of tuna, fresh tomatoes, capers, black olives, and a single chilli pepper. Good with any type of pasta but best with spaghetti (strictly De Cecco).

This is complete nonsense to me. I like Italian but said kinds are all boring, just like my last piece of a job. My new fav Italian is spaghetti aglio e olio (excellent!), but my favourite meals come from India (or Sechuan). Anyway, back to that nonsense of a question: it´s like the adage in my mother tongue: if my grandmother had had wheels, she would have been a tram...

Leaping spaghetti. It rises from the plate and strangles you where you sit. (I suppose that's the typo, as "heaping spaghetti" makes no sense.) | | | Macaroni cheese | Aug 8, 2022 |

It was a pasta dish ordered by walk-ins just as the chef was about to hang up his hat, in that it was an information leaflet/signs for tourists on the Atlantic coast. Usually I translate that sort of stuff in April or May. I suppose they wanted to check whether any foreigners would actually come before having it translated, given the fiascos of the last two years. | | | MollyRose United States Local time: 16:21 English to Spanish + ... interpret the question | Aug 8, 2022 |
This makes no sense. Is the poll supposedly for someone whose last job ever as a chef is to make a pasta? If so, "would have been" is not the correct verb tense. Or does it mean "If the last thing you did recently was to make a pasta, it would have been ..."? Or is it supposed to be comparing the last translation you did with some sort of pasta? I see that many of the polls are still ambiguous. I wonder if they do that on purpose! | | | Pages in topic: [1 2 3] > | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: If my last job were a pasta, it would have been...
