Minimum little noise required Oct 15, 2025

The washing machine from time to time, some cats meowing, music and a couple of cars passing by hourly. It would feel awkward if working in complete silence, sounds like an impossible situation though.

Basement dweller with music Oct 15, 2025

I have my office in the basement, so I am mostly unbothered by any noise from outside, unless there's some serious sawing, mowing and/or flexing going on.
That being said, I am usually listening to music at, say, slightly more than room volume.
