If translation work drops? Jan 1

it has been dropping noticeably these last years! Anyway, I will not move into any new field! I’m at the very end of my career and financially I don’t depend on what I make from freelancing, but I do want to keep my mind busy. I have been through other crisis in my lifetime and survived. So, I’ll keep calm and carry on…

May 2026 bring us all many amazing things and lots of work!

I have already been teaching since September 2025 and I love it, but I wish I wouldn't have to do this full time because it's draining your energy. I truly admire teachers.

Teaching, voice-overing or subtitling. Jan 1

To be honest, my main job has always been working as a language teacher. So, I do want to get more translation and interpreting opportunities. If I do not get any, I could explore voice-overing or subtitling opportunities. But, I try to be optimistic and find translation opportunities out there.

I specialised in EU studies and then Art but never got any translation jobs in art unfortunately and I would love to devote more time and energy to art. I draw and paint and go to lessons and have MA in art but it's just not enough. I cannot say I know it all and would love to work at a museum or art gallery for first-hand experience.
