I have a detailed record of all my translation projects since 2015 when I moved from Brussels to Lisbon.

I keep an Excel spreadsheet since the beginning of my career in June 2008 with all information: client, wordcount, rate, total value, languages, type of job (translation, proofreading, interpretation, subtitling, transcription), etc. I know everything.

Yes, I refer to past projects when the client comes back for more Apr 12

I note client-specific names and terminology in Multiterm, along with other details I may find useful later.

I keep whole projects if they are not highly confidential - marketing material and texts clients have on their websites, product information etc. Then I can find them and re-use them when the same client comes back with similar texts.
It helps with consistency and means I can deliver faster - and perhaps give the client a discount on repeats.

No, but I keep all files of old jobs in folders by year. And I use a particular naming scheme for TMs and glossaries, so they're easy to track down in case I need to find them. My folders go back to 2011.
