Networking was very important when I started out (though by then that was simply referred as contacts) and all the contacts I established when working in-house and what I learned there helped me get my freelance career started. Through networking, I was able to gain a lot of information that benefited me in my professional life. Especially as I am starting a new journey in freelancing, I need a lot of guidance and advice.
