When I happen to have brain fog is not in the afternoon but rather immediately after waking caused by poor sleep quality… A good breakfast followed by an espresso coffee solves the problem!

When my brain turns into fog, I just take a short break, usually playing checkers, which clears the fog almost instantly. Any 5 - 10 minutes distraction from my current project suffices and... I (my brain) can see clearly now.

It is that simple:
If you feel sleepy, go sleep
If you feel hungry, go eat
If you feel thirsty, go drink
If you feel distressed, go outside and breathe like never before
Have a nice day, guys.

Piggybacking tasks is where you take something that soothes you or that you enjoy such as a scented candle, or light music in the background and use that to work with. Have a snack as you work, or a nice drink of coffee or tea by your side.
These are my most practical ways to clear that brain fog!) ▲ Collapse
