Maybe in the wrong place but desperate for an answer on CAP files Nov 14, 2022

I have Across on my ox.. I got a user name and password from the client but can not seem to find a window to log in and open the CAP files.. Dan anyone assist?

Across can be used on Mac via Web with crossWeb, but not with Across Translator Edition. And as Teresa is asking for download link she doesn't have a crossWeb account.

As far as I remember, a cap file is sort of a license file that you have received from your client along with the login and password. As I mentioned in your other thread, click 'Add new' and import your cap file. The cap file stores the server connection data and your username. All you need to do then is to enter the password.
