The WA branch of AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators) is hosting a PD event on Saturday 27 June at the Tresillian Community Centre, 21 Tyrell Street, Nedlands, from 1 - 4 pm.
"Ethical Challenges in Translation and Beyond" will be a roundtable discussion facilitated by experienced professionals Dr. Wolfgang Frick, Dr. Francine Giguere, Mary Gurgone and Helen Murphy (from Interpreters International). We plan to discuss actual and theoretical cases and welcome your participation. Cost is $25 for AUSIT/WAITI and ASLIA members and $35 for non-members. This session will earn you 10 PD points for your AUSIT/ASLIA/NAATI PD logbook.
