I don't think you can substitute unintended for unexpected. Someone other than the user may have intended to cause the loss. Intention/intended and expected (know that is going to happen) are very different.

Yes, any unintended connectivity loss is "unexpected"

: Sorry, but I think if network administrators are testing something, they may have an unintended loss of connection, but I woudlnt say it is 'unexpected' - they might have known that by testing something, they might accidently cause a loss of connection.
