Discussion

strassy (asker) Feb 23, 2012:
Remarks on the two current suggestions Most aconomical is:
באופן אלחוטי
which also describes well what happens.
Nevertheless it bears the feeling of old technology or put a little differently of nondigital data transfer.
The other suggestion
בחיבור לרשת סלולרית
seems more exact or at least up to date but longer.

Its difficult for me to choose the appropriate translation since both have their apeal.

Thank you

Note from asker:
Very tight with flavor of older methods of communication, but conveys the full meaning.

בחיבור לרשת סלולרית

Smartphones can receive update from the Internet and the cellular network so it must be stated exactly from which network
Note from asker:
I do not pretend to understand the technology involved, but it seems to me that the cellular internet rides upon the cellular network and it doesn't really matter. Both methods ride upon the cellular network. Anyway, this option is also adequate for me; there is a more condensed option as you saw.
