can you help me with the meaning of "something that I'm going in every month" in this context?!??
thx
"VIP to me means a hundred dollars, a hundred and fifty dollars. Then I have an entrance thatI can walk in and if you're crowded, if we get to the place through this discussion and it's crowded,I can get a seat.
VIP means to me you come up and surprise me and you say, "You and your guest tonight aregoing to have a bottle of our VIP wine." It's not stuff that I'm programmed for, it's stuff that I getsurprised if I bring my family.
VIP to me is, "Hey," to the kids, "Think about this before you order. I've got ice cream andcake for you for dessert," or whatever your thing is, "as a VIP guest." Those kinds of things meansomething to me because get to feel special and appear special to the people I bring with me.
I get to be recognized and acknowledged for the membership. It's not something that I'm going in every month and waiting around to get my dessert or to get my free glass of wine or some-thing. I want you to surprise me and be unique and be impressive"

It's not about my going in every month...
This is has been awkwardly translated into English.
This is what I think the writer meant to say:
- It's not about my going every month and waiting around to get a dessert, or a free glass of wine, or anything like that. I want to be surprised by you, feel unique, and be impressed.
Original sentence: It's not something that I'm going in every month and waiting around to get my dessert or to get my free glass of wine or some-thing. I want you to surprise me and be unique and be impressive"

somewhere that I go regularly
If you go to a restaurant every month, you may expect to get special treatment (such as a free dessert or glass of wine). He's saying that he wants to go somewhere occasionally and still be treated as special, as a VIP.

: With Sheila - something he expects every time he goes there. He wants the VIP treatment to be a surprise and would like it to happen particularly when he brings guests, so that he can impress them.

like to always be treated as a VIP
without waiting for a glass of wine or dessert. Special treatment requested.
My suggestion.

the idea is not that I go in every month and...
I think "not something" here means "it's not a situation in which" or "my conception isn't that..." He's just repeating the same idea: that, to him, VIP treatment does not mean that he goes in regularly and gets a predetermined bonus; it means that he is treated as someone special.
