: I agree, though it's long and awkward. I think you can also follow the Hebrew source which does not form a full sentence, and be more telegraphic : "cancellation of deposit. retroactive value. credit to current account"

I have no idea what 'פת' הפ stands for and therefore I cannot say what kind of credit this could be and also because of this, I am not totally certain that this is the correct meaning of your phrase but it may give others a handle to arrive at the target term.

Possibly, if Shai's guess about פתיחת הפיקדון is correct, then it could be that someone has decided to retroactively cancel the opening of a current account. Possibly an account number has been allocated to a customer to which account funds were to be transferred and in the absence of such a transfer taking place, the opening deposit credit is retroactively cancelled. Does this make sense in your context?
