Gabriel, your article is on an issue about which many of our colleagues are sensitive. This is understandable. The future of our trade is at stake.
You bring the general facts in a realistic and impartial fashion.
Nobody can pronounce a final word about machine translator yet, let alone in a short article like yours. However, every single view shared and debated will eventually bring the light.

I'm not an enthusiast of CAT tools as much as you. In fact, I think there's a lot of hype out there where they are trying to convince us that in order to be a good translator you need to have one (or many) of those tools (very high priced, by the way). In my view, a good translator can keep doing their job on a stone-age typewriter and this won't diminish the quality of their work. Now, when it comes to speed, CAT tools may present advantages. The choice, obviously, is up to each individual.
