Select File > Options. The Options dialog box is displayed.
Select Editor from the navigation tree. The Editor settings are displayed on the right.
Tag display is controlled from the Formatting display style drop-down list. This box appears under Side-by-side Editor.
If you want to display tags, select Show all formatting and tags.
If you want to remove tags, select Show formatting but hide recognized formatting tags.
Click OK to save the settings and close the Options dialog box.
Alternative: Instead of using the steps through the Options menu, while translating a document in the Editor view follow the steps:
Go to View tab > Options group
Click on Toggle formatting tag display to display or not display the formatting tags.
